There are at least three manufacturers I can think of off the top of my head that make good quality nite sights for the M&P. That said, Truglo TFO's seem to be the most popular with folks I talk to. THE TFO's are not only good nite sights but greatly improve day sight picture too. FWIW, I have TFO's on three of my M&P's and love them.

The factory S&W night sights on the M&P are made by Trijicon. High quality sights. Trijicon and Meprolight are the only night sights I would consider. Bill

Do you really think they're worth the difference? (The Tricicons vs Truglo etc)
May be in the market for some for my M&P 9c. But I'm still not sure.

I sell and install Truglow TFO's on M&P's and have found them to be of same quality & brightness as Trijicons. ( which I also sell & install ) Truglow uses the same swiss made tritium gas as trijicon & meprolite does. Personally, why get just night sights, when you can get day & night sights with the TFO's.

Bowie Tactical sells a set with low profile/smoothed edges. I'm not sure which tubes he is using but there are only so many tritium suppliers.
I like the idea of smoothed edges because the factory sights on my 9c dig in to my sides while sitting.
I keep meaning to pick up a set but the upcoming hunting seasons have me distracted.

Are all M&P sights the same? In other words will truglo TFO sights for an M&P fit the Shield series of M&P?
I have truglo tfo sights on my one and only Glock and i do like them.

I've been very pleased with Trijicons and would recommend them for the M&P. I bought a set of sa37's on Amazon a couple of weeks ago for $112.50 delivered. I don't think you'll find a better sight or a better price.

I would think most, if not all, gunsmiths would. My local smith will as will one of the local shops that sells M&Ps. Don't remember what the smith charges but the shop charges $40 if you don't buy them from them and $20 if you buy from them.
