Is this normal slide wear for an M&P Full Size 9mm
Hello U.S.A. !!! Just got my first gun last week (M&P 9mm FS) and have put about 150 rounds thru it with no problems. I did a little search and could not find any related threads with pictures, so i'm going to attempt to upload one of my slide. I got the feeling it's normal but i just want to make sure. From what i've noticed as far as prices, i think i got a good deal on it (new). I'm hoping this is not the reason why. Thanks !!!!!

That's not wear. It's brass from the next cartridge in the magazine.

The brass from the next magazine, totally makes sense. Thanks, you guys are great. What's a good product to remove that brass off the slide ? I picked up some Rem oil and i'm gonna clean it in a couple of days. Thanks again.

Just a tip that i use and works for me. For ME its best to clean the firearm right after shooting when its still warm its when it cleans up best, for ME.
