Nice. Top serrations aren't my cup of tea, but it looks good.

I had the work done at ATEi in Taylor MI. ateiguns.com
Doug does amazing work on M&Ps & Glocks, he does a great job on the serrations on top & side along with a lot of other custom work like mounting RMRs right on top of your M&P or Glock & has them refinished w Melonite or Nickle Boron, he has Diversified Firearm Concepts do the stippling & other frame mods. He also does a great trigger job, he makes his own sear & heat treats them, He can make your trigger just about any weight you want. My Shield came with a 7# trigger & after was 4.5#, the F/S M&P was about 6+ & after its about 3.5#. Check out his web site, make sure you check out the Costa M&P, I got to check one of these out in person, AMAZING!! Balance, Feel, Excellent.

Nice!!! I love the Shield. Can't find one anywhere though, so I ordered a M&P9c.

thanks, I'll definitely check out his site. Not sure if I'm ready to have work done on my guns yet, but I'll be down below the bridge for christmas this weekend and figured why not see where this was at. Will he work on anything other than M&Ps and Glocks?

The beauty to the top serrations is the ability to rack the slide on a gun that does not have a lot to grab on to. I like it.

If you don't mind me asking, what did the top serrations, trigger job, and if you add the Boron coating run you? And how long did it take before you got the firearms back in your hand?

Lets just say between the machining & refinishing, stippling, trigger & Night sights I have as much into those modifications as I have into the gun, but it turned a very nice gun into an exceptional firearm that I wouldn't hesitate to defend my family's lives or my own. It feels, handles & shoots like a dream & is very accurate, just the trigger work tightened up my groups quite a bit. If your interested in having Doug do some work for you every once in a while he runs specials, most of the time he posts them on Michigan Gun Owners in the Commercial Dealers area. He just had a special at the beginning of Dec. & runs them several times a year.
