Apex Christmas..
My girlfriend cannot keep secrets. She knew I've been wanting the DCAEK for my M&P 45c ever since I bought it a few months back. So she couldn't help but tell me she got it for me this morning! The stock trigger is fine. It actually has a very pronounced tactile reset. But I just can't help but improving perfection. I can't open the present until Christmas but that didn't stop me from getting ready for the install....
..Just getting everything cleaned up and ready to throw the apex parts in! First time taking an M&P apart and it was a breeze. I'll give an update in a couple days.

You do know why they're called M&P's don't you? It's a description of the intelligence level required to take one apart and put back together....... Monkeys & Primates.

Haha yea...monkeys and primates are smarter than some humans in my experience. You just never know.

Drifting the rear sight from the slide went smooth. I held a nail with a pliers as I heated the tip up with a torch. Once the nail was red hot I let it cool for a few seconds and then I held on the set screw of the sight to release the red loctite. Worked really well. I then made wooden punch from some oak in our shop. That also worked like a dream. Sight tapped right out with a few hits.

Sir - Please let us see pictures when finished. Last time I did an install of trigger parts on a pistol, I become well acquainted with my local gun smith & his machine shop. Several times.

Nice job. I put the DCAEK kit in my mid size M&P .45. Made a new gun out of it. The .45c I bought last year had a much better trigger. The was a lot of grit and creep in the take-up so I just installed the APEX striker block to take care of that problem.
