Crossbreed SuperTuck or MiniTuck for an M&P Shield?

Hello,

I want to purchase a Crossbreed IWB holster for my M&P Shield. However, I'm not sure if I should opt for the SuperTuck or MiniTuck.

I really like the idea of the smaller MiniTuck (I'm only 5'6" and 150 pounds) but from what I can see online, the muzzle seems to protrude past the leather and I'm concerned this would cause the edges of the slide to rub against my leg.

I assume the larger SuperTuck would cover the entire firearm but don't like the idea of large size which I assume would be more suited to a full size or 1911. Also, I hear that Crossbreed has changed the shape of the SuperTuck which arcs upwards?

Does anyone have any recommendations based on your own experiences with an M&P Shield/Crossbreed setup? Pictures of the firearm in the holster (especially the MiniTuck) would be great!

I called CB when I got my Shield and asked them what they would suggest ST vs. MT because I wasn't sure either. They told me the ST was better because the MT is meant more for the ultra compact pistols which the Shield really isn't. So I got the ST.

I have since cut the holster to make my own combat cut.

I'm new to this forum and just got a sheild to what an awesome gun!! I to just orderd a CB super tuck, and very excited to get it. I know it says 6 to 8 weeks for delivery, and was wondering, if that is the real wait time.

I ordered mine on 1/26 and am still waiting. They said closer to 8 weeks on all new orders.

Ordered mine on 2-17.. They told me they are currently at a 6-6.5 week deliver date.. I was hoping to get mine somewhere around the 1st week in April... But I'm beginning to doubt that time table now...

I was debating between the Supertuck and a Theis holster earlier this week (didn't even know they made the Minituck for the Shield). Anyways, I ended up getting the Theis; $65 shipped for horsehide. Same exact warranty as Crossbreed's but the turnaround is shorter.

Check out RB holsters on ebay. I bought one for my shield, they are half the price very comfortable and there is no wait for one. The seller was also very fast with shipping. Ordered mine on a Friday and had it on Wednesday.

Everyone has a holster of choice. I have an M-Tac for my 9c and love it. The draw speed and ability to configure is sweet. I also have a Raven Concealment Phantom, a lot of holster for the dinero. It can be configured inside and outside the waist. I love them both.

If I'm going a full size the super tuck but for a compact the mini. That's just me.

I ordered my Super Tuck on January 31st and it's still listed as "not yet shipped." I check daily in hopes that that will change.
