Shot my new Shield 9mm today
I am very pleased with it. only shot 50 rounds as I had others to shoot too. functioned perfectly and shot POA at 15 yds. the trigger pull was a little harder than I had expected but got used to it pretty quick. my second shots on double taps were a little low: got to work on that. I really like the 8 rd mag better than the 7. I get a better grip with the 8 rd mag. lee

Yeah shooting the Shield is different, takes some getting used to but comes quickly. Hope you enjoy it, I know I do.

I only have 50 rounds through mine as well. I was shooting left for the first 25 rounds or so. But I was doing well when I got to round 50. I am a fan of the 7 round mags. Not so much the 8. I have smaller hands and like to keep me CCW's smaller.

I picked my Shield in .40 up this morning. I've cleaned it, now I'm ready to try it out. So far I love it. Great price tag to. We'll worth the three week wait.

Love the Shield. An excellent CCW that you quickly realize is something special.

Glad to hear good reviews on the Shield as I'm thinking of getting one myself. Ran across one earlier in the week when I was visiting Houston for $429...passed on it, then promptly kicked myself...that's probably as good a price as I'll see - if I ever see a new one again THAT'S AVAILABLE. By the way, they also had ordinary 9mm ammo for $20 a box, which I think is really good for nowadays.

I have had my 9mm shield for a few weeks now. I was able to take her to the range a few days ago and was very surprised at how accurate this gun is. I had just finished shooting a FNX40 I just got too. Perhaps that was why I did so well with the shield, after shooting a bunch of .40, 9mm seems like child's play. I use the versacarry, which is a clip that you insert into the barrel of the gun, and a belt clip at the top. It's very secure and very very minimalist, you can wear a t shirt with the shield on your belt. Good luck with yours, loving mine.
