Talk me into it or talk me out of it
Looking to purchase a used Shield 40. Lgs has it at $339.00. I've read both good and bad so I'm looking for some solid info. Is mag drop a problem? I got rid of my lc9 because it went back twice for mag drop issues. I really like the looks and feel of Shield but am hesitant. Thanks in advance!

There is no way a Shield will sit on the shelf for $339.
I bet it's gone too.

Yeah - you can't take the time to ask the guru's here with a price like that... kinda like telling a buddy that Wal-Mart has 22 ammo in stock and you are going to make a trip after work....

I've had no problems out of mine so far. great little gun for CCW. At that price it wont be there long.

I bought the 9mm Monday, $425, shot it today and am very happy. At $339 I would be over the moon. I bought it to replace a PF9, and it is night and day superior.

Yep prolly gone depending what kind of store it is. I'm still amazed when I'm in my LGS and people walk up to the counter and see the Shields. Always ask "what's a Shield?"
Every LGS in my area seems have them for 399 now Shortage is over...at least in New Hampshire
