Default Holster recommendation.
Looking for a comfortable holster that will hold the M&P9 9mm Shield and an extra clip. I was looking for IWB and do not wear a belt either. Any good recommendations?

Depending on the retention of the gun in the holster (fit) and the holster material (leather, kydex, etc.) you will need a belt. If you aren't looking to wear a belt you could look into sticky holsters.

Is this your first CC gun? There are a ton of holster threads for the shield. Scroll through a couple pages and see what you like.
