Shield - Need IWB Holster

I second this holster. Great concept and hands down the most comfortable holster I've tried. Conceals very well too. I wear mine at 3:30, but might try the 1 position!

I've been loyal to my Garret Industries holster, but after breaking the fourth clip on their holster and mag holster I'm fed up with purchasing new ones and always worrying about them breaking. They didn't even offer me new clips for the broken ones, I had to pay for them. They also claim to be coming out with a redesigned clip but it's been months and no new design. It's a shame because Garret holsters are top notch and from what I understand the clips are outsourced. I hope they get their clips straightened out and if so I'll give them another shot.

If you try a really nice holster you will realize how much better they're than holsters like N82 PJ galco etc.

Guys.. forgive me if I missed it somewhere, but who makes this holster? Thanks

I dig my FoxX Trapp for my Shield 9 "FoxX Trapp" All Kydex IWB Holster. Great product, good price and outstanding customer service. Couldn't recommend them more highly. But as you can see in this post...holsters are as personal as guns. Good luck in finding the right one for you!

Today, after 2 months waiting I finally got a shield in 9mm. I am now looking for a Clip Holster. Like to carry at 4 o'clock. Don Hume doesn't make an IWB specific to the shield. Anybody have the:

Wright Leather Cruiser IWB

Bell Charter Oaks Titan III or X-Treme Service?

Opinions? Thanks much.

try foxx holsters , little foxx single clip

Look at Foxx holsters or Cook holsters.

Foxx makes a nice IWB kydex for a cheap price and it ships within 3-4 days. Cook makes the same thing. Its like a PJ holster (which is nice) but with out the long lead time.

I've been carrying a Rubicon Tactical kydex for about a month now. It's very comfortable and easy to tuck a shirt around. I carry at 8 o'clock (left handed). They're very reasonably priced too at $34.50 shipped. He'll customize as well if you ask.

I have the Foxx Trapp and the Little Foxx. I love them both and they are very well made and for a great price. I primarily use the Little Foxx for my EDC.

Another Foxx fan here. I like kydex J hooks that I heat up and custom fit to my belt.

Preference is all leather. I like Single clip so the holster and gun come off quickly together. Thanks for replies but keep them coming.

I just bought a DM Bullard IWB holster for my Shield. All leather with one belt clip.

As others have mentioned, I recommend a DeSantis SOF Tuck. The same model that fit my G19/G26 works well for my Shield. It's very thin, light and the cant is adjustable. I wear mine at 4 o'clock and find it very comfortable. Best of all you can pick one up for around $20 or so if you look. If you decide it isn't what you want, at least you're not out as much as pretty much any other holster ;)

I use different IWB depending on the need. If I'm working outside on my property I'll wear my Alien Gear Hybrid. If I'm in casual wear or where a visible clip is not an issue my favorite choice is a Cooks Holster which is Kydex with 1 clip. When deep concealment is called for I use a Remora clipless.

I received an Alien Gear holster for my M&P. The leather was cracked nearly in half. Sent them an email 3 days ago and have yet to hear back. Caveat emptor!

I'm really sorry to hear this. I communicated various questions and received replies - about 2 days after sending...but they were outstanding to work with.

I made an order change - they got it right, got the billing right too and I received the holster about a week earlier than expected. I was very pleased.
