Yes, they are very good. I put the grip on my Shield. Take your time and follow the instructions and it will come out looking like it came from the factory that way. And it feels great.

I am a big fan. I have them on 2 Glocks and a shield. I opted for the rubber because they are carry guns. The grip tape material doesn't feel very good against the skin.

I just put one on my new C.O.R.E., and am extremely pleased. One of the best products I ever bought.

I have them on my shield, they install easy and are pretty durable.

I have them on my Shield and FS M&P. If I buy anymore polymer guns, they will be on them as well.
BTW, I have a set of stippled parts from A2Stippling (great work for a great price) on the FS M&P along with the Talon rubber grips. Just cut away the rubber grip that would overlay the stippling.

I am on my third set on my shield since July. The first one started peeling up at the top left side. Contacted Talon, and they sent me a new set no questions asked. They did recommend cleaning the shield grip extra good with alcohol and a tooth brush. I cleaned the grip twice with 91% alcohol and a tooth brush, then used the supplied prep pad. Let it dry and installed per their directions. Set # 2 started to roll and lift at the bottom back strap and right side bottom. Talon offered to do what ever I wished to insure I was happy as a customer. I agreed to try them once more as I really like the way they feel. If this set peels I will conclude Talon grips weren't meant to be for me and my shield.

I like them and have had good luck on my 9 Shield. If they do start peeling, you may actually be griping the pistol too tightly. What's taught is 40% pressure w/ your strong hand and 60% pressure w/ your off-hand. This provides better trigger press.

As a poster recommended, cleaning/prepping the gun handle throughly prior to application only helps. I think this is in the installation instructions but I used a hair dryer and heated up the grip before and after installation and firmly press the tape to the gun. I did have the granulate type originally and it begin to peel from the bottom of the 8 rd mag, but I've since switched to the rubberized grip for carry and still have a good purchase.

Love them! Have the Talons on several guns, key is cleaning and proper application to make them stay.

Go Granular or go home. Tried rubberized, no better than none at all. Have granular on M&P 9C and G19. World of difference.

I had the same problem. I switched to Traction grips and never looked back. They are half the price too!

I can second this. From what I've been told, they are thinner than Talon Grips, but I can definitely say they work. Shooting my Shield before and after was a pretty noticeable difference. It just stayed planted in my hand. And I've had them on pretty much all summer, every day in an IWB holster, and with the heat and the sweat getting on them they have not started to come off anywhere. I even bought an extra set just to do my spare magazine because they are so cheap. Now i have to figure out how to do my NDZ extension. But, I would highly recommend these Traction Grips if you don't want to spend the money on Talons. I would highly recommend using rubbing alcohol and a hairdryer is a must. Started to burn my fingers a couple times
