Default New Shield - Sear deactivation lever fell out & loose ejector

Read a few threads on guys getting their new Shields. I had mine for two weeks and finally decided to do a quick cleaning as I hadn't shot it yet and was getting ready to. The sear deactivation lever fell out...just fell out. Do guys remove these with no ill effects?

Other thing is my ejector is a bit loose. Just a bit of play, but my FS is rock solid so raising questions...

The slide also sticks pretty good to the frame during disassembly, which has happened in 0 of my firearms, including my previous Shield. It requires a "forceful" push/pull to get it off the frame after pulling the trigger.

What kind of lemon do I have here?
Need for concern or shoot away? Was going to just shoot it, but the fact the lever just fell out and the slide is not smoothly coming off is making me wonder what else it's missing. Bummer is I consider this one's trigger to be pretty good during dryfire practice, as my previous example was simply OK. Thinking S&W is going to see this one, though.

I wouldn't hesitate to send it to S&W. Yes, you can get by without the sear deactivation lever, but parts falling out of a new gun is not acceptable. Supposedly a little play in the ejector is normal, or at least not unusual. Mine wobbles maybe a millimeter.

There is a pin that goes through a hole in the sear deactivation lever to hold it in place, plus a spring that goes on the same pin to keep the lever from moving from side-to-side. So if your lever "fell out", there is a problem. Either the lever is broken or the retaining pin is broken or missing.

The ejector on my Shield also has a little play, which I think is normal.
