M&P 40C
After 10 days in jail, I bailed out my new M&P 40C last Thursday. I received the 165gr Plated LRN bullets on Saturday and loaded up a few hundred rounds using 4.7gr HP-38. Bottom line, my latest purchase performed without issue and was more accurate than I thought it would be.

Nice. Glad to hear your first outing was successful. I am kind of in the same boat. Have a mp40c I picked up a few days ago - not from the 'gun jail' like CA has, but am waiting for my time off and nicer (less wintry) weather to sync up so I can go and try it out.

Just finished cleaning my new 40C I bought tonight after work. Hope to make it to the range this weekend. My other Smith is a 360 revolver. Will give a report.

I love my .40C, it is my HD pistol. Put night sights and an Apex trigger in it, it is a sweet shooter. Just ordered a Streamlight TRL-1s light for it, plan on switching it between this pistol and my AR 15. Their are some good deals out their right now.

Got the MP40c out yesterday for the first time and ran through 150 rounds consisting of two brands of 180gr fmjs and ended with a few mags of defensive 180gr jhps.
Encountered no issues and was pleasantly surprised how well behaved this piece is even with the defense loads for follow up shots.

Fired 100 of my reloads at the range. This gun worked flawlessly and is very accurate even at 40 feet. I always appreciated a pistol with a short barrel that still has reasonable accuracy at more that 30 feet. This will be my new carry gun.
