I am very interested. I like how it clips on to the belt, just wondering if you had to draw your fire arm out, will the trigger guard holster come out too?
I make holsters and can tell you that the clip will stay on your belt when you draw the weapon. Its design allows it to clip tight to the inside of itself. When you draw the weapon the belt catches against the down side of the clip and holds. ( there are always exceptions. If its not formed correctly it may slip off the belt). From a personal point of view I would not use a holster like this. I prefer to have more of the gun covered and since its IWB anyway there is no concern in my mind about the additional leather or Kydex. A holster would keep debris out of the barrel and from collecting at the ejection port. A holster that wraps around the barrel and trigger guard also keeps any stray grease or oil from getting on your clothing.
Just my opinion but it's not something I would use.
It is a minimalist holster for sure. There are a few places who sell these or similar ones. If made well the clip and kydex should stay on the belt when pulled, but depends on the retention. If it's retains too much it may just pull out of the belt. A loop with a pull the dot snap may be a better belt connection choice.
Me personally, I'd probably not carry with this style holster. I prefer more material between the slide, my skin and my clothes.
I do use a trigger guard device with a length of paracord on my HD pistol since it does not have a manual safety. It is similar to the one they have listed as the "trigger shield" model. Figure it helps ensure I am keeping my finger off the trigger if I need to grab for it in the dark.
