Need to find good appendix holster for Shield
Ive been carrying appendix lately but i need to find a more comfortable holster. What do you like for an appendix holster, either IWB or OWB?

I have a Remora. I need it to sit about one inch higher without pulling away from my belt.

Garrity Gunleather makes the best AIWB holster IMHO. Wait list could be 4 months long, but you'll be wearing whatever holster you buy for a long time.

I just got one from The Well Armed Woman website for my M&P .40c Not just for women, it is very slim and comfortable in the positions that I have tried: appendix, 4:00, 5:00. Notice the belt clip is on the trigger side, which makes for a slimmer IWB fit.

Blade-Tech Klipt. I carry a G19 in one and its more comfy than my INCOG that I also have. A friend is using a Klipt with his Shield and loves it.

I use my PJ's for both hip and appendix carry. Very lightweight and the forward cant is no problem for me.

That looks cool. Could you possibly post a pic of the gun in the holster? I bought and returned a similar leather holster because the clip and holster body obstructed the grip of the gun. I had to pull the gun and then adjust my grip.

For a small pistol like a Shield the FIST or PJ holster (as recommended) above will probably work just fine. The Garrity holster is a great holster, but there are a couple problems I can see: (a) the size of the holster and design is really for full-size service pistols (b) if you are going to do that, then you can go to a bigger gun and try the wedge design holsters like JMCK and Shaggy in kydex or Ralston SME in leather.

Just don't want you to drop $170 and not get what you want. :-D

TWAW 15% off 12/26 & 12/27
Just got notification that The Well Armed Woman is having a two-day after Christmas sale. It is 15% off with the code GIFT4ME That makes this particular holster $38.
