m&p40c trigger adjustment?
First of all, thank you all for all the knowlwedge that helped me to stop shooting low..after 20 rounds my shot improved immensely!
the trigger is a pretty tough pull and seems like there's a little over travel. My question to all of you is can the stock trigger be adjusted to a lighter pull weight? If so is it easy to do? If not, i was looking at the apex trigger kit. I would love to have it but funds are a little tight right now.Any suggestions?

Yes, but it's not simple and it's possible to bugger the sear if you're not careful.
The pull weight is a function of several things. The trigger return spring, the sear plunger spring, the amount of contact with the striker tang, the striker block shape and spring and the contact with the sear. All these things can be adjusted through various means and all of them can be screwed up.
The Apex FSS with the polymer trigger is about $135. It's not cheap, but worth every penny. I highly recommend saving up for a little bit and going the Apex route.

There's a guy at the local gun shows who does great trigger jobs on Glocks for about $40. I keep joking with him to watch this http://www.burwellguns.com/misc/M&Ptriggerjob.pdf Then do this on my gun. He laughs & says "one day". GARY

Gary,
That's the process I was referring to. It is easy to do for those who are mechanically inclined, but you do run the risk of buggering the sear if you're not careful.
Also, that doesn't address the problem of the over travel. The Apex FSS solves the problem of over travel and trigger pull in one easy step. It took me about 15 minutes to install it.
