M&P .22 + SWR Spectre II suppressor...

So I'm thinking of starting the long process of getting one of these. Looks to pair excellently with the M&P .22.

My question is - do I need a thread adapter for it to work with the threaded barrel of the M&P .22? (starting with the small potatoes, lol!)

I also hope to use it with my M&P 15-22, but not sure what I have to do to make that work either...

You do need a thread adapter for the M&P .22, yes.

And the adapter will have the same threads as a threaded M&P15-22 barrel

Right, so you don't (?) need a thread adapter if you have the M&P 15-22 with the A2 flash hider.

No - the M&P22 needs a thread adapter to use a surpressor. This adapter will give you a 1/2-28 thread, just like the factor threads on a M&P15-22

Right, that's what I said.

I said the 15-22 doesn't need the adapter, I believe, as long as it came with the A2 flash hider.

MP 22 Suppressor

I have a YH Mite works great fair price. If I had it to do over I would get a Sparrow. I do not remember who makes them. Dealer did not have one. They are $150 more than the Mite, but can shoot more 22's before cleaning.

I got my suppressor today, finally.

Just wanted to update. Pretty excited, but now I have to wait for the thread adapter to come in, since of course they had none in stock where I got it. Hah!
