Default Swapping slides on 45?

I find myself in possession of two M&P45 FS pistols. One is new and bone stock, the other has a low round count and had trigger work, top end gone through as well as TFO's installed. So my question is, can I run the slide from one on the other or is the slide somehow matched to the frame at the time of build?
The goal here is that I'd like to run the TFO sighted top end on the new FDE frame.

I believe these are assembly line guns, so swapping slides should be fine. Maybe someone who knows better will post with more information.

You should be fine. I've ran my fullsize slide on a friends 45c frame and it shot perfect. Don't see how you would have any trouble.

Thanks Much, I figured as much but figured I'd ask. ( I once saw a demo where a Glock rep disassembled four guns into a pile then rebuilt them from the mixed parts and fired them all. In my mind an M&P is all of what a Glock is and more.
I'll give it a run this week.

If you are using the stock sear in your lower and the stock striker block in the two slides you should have no problem.

I run a standard and long slide on my 9mm. I have the apex FSS setup and made sure the proper striker block is in both slides - the trigger feel and shooting performance is the same with either slide.
