I've put 1500 rounds through my new M&P 22 in the past 3 weeks, and it's been a hell of a fun gun to shoot. I've done a lot of practice at 5 yards (this is my first handgun) but today I wanted to shoot solely at 10 yards with the silhouette target that they use for the conceal carry license class. Not that I'm planning on carrying a .22, I just wondered how I'd do on the test.
I'm pretty happy with the results. They said none of your shots can be outside the 7, and I managed to keep them all within the 9.
I fired 100 rounds of Winchester White Box, and 100 rounds of Federal bulk to see if I noticed any accuracy difference. It looks like I had a better grouping with the Federal.
Now I'm just waiting for my new 9mm Pro to come in to the FFL this weekend so that I can have a second toy to play with at the range! Hopefully for my wallet's sake, I can stop at two M&P handguns for now, but we'll see.
