Herters 9mm 115gr from Cabelas
It's a nice price and seems to usually be available at Cabelas.
For target shoot--- anyone use this ? What is your experience? opinion? Herters Select ( in black box). Reviews I've read range from very good to very bad. I like to take those with a grain of salt. I think reviews on this forum are much more reliable.

My Cabela's had cci's blazer brass on sale at $13.99 a box.
I've had nothing but good experiences with herter's though. I usually open a box and look at a head stamp before purchase.
Most of the time its blazer head stamp inside the box. Not sure if its reboxed blazer or if that's where they bought brass from.
The 7.62 x39 is talua ammo... I doubt they're buying talua steel cases...

The Herters Select I've bought from them has all been loaded by Sellier & Bellot and has functioned fine. The brass looked good and it felt uniform while firing. The only downside I can see is Cabelas could choose a different supplier at some point that might change the results???

Just ran 100 rnds between my 9c and 9shield on Friday. All functioned fine and fired a little cleaner than some other FMJ's. No issues with them here.

Same with me - all the Herter's Select has been S&B. I've had several hundred rounds. Shoots fine, just like S&B.

No problem at all with the brass or aluminum cased Herters. Excellent target ammo firing straight and clean.

Thanks again for all the replies. Tried some today in a my wifes Glock 19. No problems. 100 rounds seemed to be a louder bang than other ammo we use. Hav not cleaned the gun yet. That will be the final opinion maker.
