Default How can they weigh the same?

Specs on the new m&p 380acp are the same as the old bg380. With removal of the laser wouldn't it be logical to have a reduction in weight. What gives?

Hickok45 posted a video on this recently. I believe the weight difference was something like .3 ounces.
