Default Got my new Talon grips!

And they feel great on my Shield! Took a chance ordering them as I hadn't actually held a pistol with Talon grips, but based on all the good things I heard about them I figured they were worth a try. Boy am I glad I did. As everyone said, they were fairly easy to install. Just take your time to do it right and they're on. And believe me, if anyone can screw up an easy job, it's me. So if you are considering getting some Talon grips, I highly recommend them.

Excellent grips and customer service.

Put a pair on my shield and love em. A corner started to peel and gradually got worse. Contacted talon and they sent me a replacement even though I purchased on fleabay. I had to provide proof that they were bought within 90 days? They did mention that because of the aggressive grips on m&p's, you have to thoroughly clean the Surface before applying.

I've got a set on my BG380 and they work and look good. The fit is excellent and they even include alcohol wipes to make sure you get the area clean before installing. Just take your time putting them on and you're good to go.

I read about the rubberized talon grips for the Shield on these forums a few weeks ago and bought some for the Shield and my M&P 45c. Before this I was looking at doing a stippling job.
Easy to put on and I agree with the others, great upgrade for little money.

They look nice on. I almost bought them and was worried about heating it etc. Nicely done.

Any problems with drawing from an IWB holster with the rubberized grips? It seems like that might add some additional friction. I've got a N82 holster that requires a slight clockwise motion to draw.

Not at all with my holster. I have an IWB Kydex holster from Multiholster and I haven't noticed anything different regarding drawing the gun from the holster.

I have the rubberized version on all three of my M&P's, and love them. I got them for the Shield first because it just seemed so slippery . They felt so good I had to get them for the others.

Their customer service is great too. I called and asked if I could get some bulk material to put on top of the quad tanks because our little Dachshunds ride there. They sent me two 5x9 sheets per my request. Now we have happy dogs that won't slip off the tanks.

Default Talon Grips on Shield 9

Put a set of Talon rubber on my Shield 9 and love the difference. Looks cool, too, if I don't say so myself. Also added a Pearce grip extension on the magazines, even the extended mags. The extension really helps my pinky finger stay in place. Talon sells an additional piece of rubber tape for the extension, so I molded it to fit the Pearce extension. Nothing to it. A good heat gun helps. Will do a similar set up for a recently purchased Shield 40.

Had Talons on my Shield for over a year now. No problems at all with them peeling. They do have some wear from metal chairs and such rubbing on them but still on solid. Makes for much more solid grip while shooting. If these do peel off I will gladly buy another set. Well worth the price to me.
