I just received a new Storm Lake 5" M&P Pro 40-9 conversion barrel. It has at least 3/32" case exposed ahead of the extractor groove due to a generous bullet ramp. Is this normal case support for Storm Lake barrel of did I get a lemon ? I was expecting full chamber case support like the OEM .40 S&W barrel and this condition concerns me.
How do KKM conversion barrel case support compare ? Do the KKMs have full case support ? Also, what twist are the KKM barrels ?
