Default Added one to the stable

Well, the 9c was getting a little lonely so I went ahead and picked up the Shield 9 from my FFL yesterday. Test fire date of 5/21/14... this one is pretty hot off the press. It feels great in the hand, and can't wait to get to the range to put it through its paces so I can start carrying it. I've got some time to spare because I'm waiting for the new supertuck to come in.

Boy, that MA trigger is no joke though. I had the apex put into my 9c before I ever shot it, so when I took the shield out of the box and dry fired, I thought I may have had the safety on! If you listen closely enough, you can actually hear the gun begging for the apex system, right before the trigger breaks.

Stripped it down and gave it a good clean when I got it home, and plan to shoot it this weekend.

Anyway, I won't ramble... Here's a picture I snapped of the 9c's little brother.

Now that I've got it, I'd really like to pick up the apex kit and some XS Big Dot sights for it. Having it all available just a click away is not going to be nice on my wallet. Must... Restrain... Self...

See how long it takes before you have the mandatory drawer full of holsters for it. I have several...some I like better than others and some I use for certain situations but I'm always looking to try more.

No drawer of holsters for me. I went with a crossbreed supertuck for my 9c and it's the only one I use with it.

I'm assuming that the fit and finish will be just as good on the one I ordered for the Shield, so I'm ahead of the game in the holster department I suppose.

See what you made me do... now I'm thinking that it's okay to spend more money on gun stuff because I've saved so much on holsters. I've got a sickness.

Sounds like a party. Congrats on your new Shield, and congrats to all who have one on the way.
