Good afternoon all.

A search has not turned up anything, so I thought I would ask where I can buy replacement parts for my M&P 22 pistol?
The normal wear pieces like the recoil spring, recoil spring buffer (or whatever that plastic spacer is called).

Sending it back to S&W is not an option for me, and I am hoping someone is selling parts and pieces.

Thanks in advance.

They sent them to me for free, several months ago.

I could not find anything on their website, and did not think to call them.
I did call this morning, and a polity lady told me that they no longer service or sell parts for the S&W M&P-22.
She gave me the number for a Walther distributor in the southeast US.

Kyle at Walther explained that the do make the gun, but do not sell M&P22 parts, or service Smith and Wesson pistols. He offered to send me a parts diagram for a similar Walther pistol, and said if I wanted to, I could buy parts for the Walther in hopes they fit the M&P 22.

Called S&W back, got someone else, and they said they do service them and sell parts. Normally they are not stocked and 4-6 weeks is a typical back order from Walther in Germany.
So, I ordered 2 recoil springs, 2 recoil spring bushings, and 2 slide roll pins for $14 shipped.

In case anyone is wondering, a replacement barrel is $99 plus shipping.

WOW! If they are going to pass the buck and make it difficult to get replacement parts, I may have to go back to a Ruger, when I wear out my M&P22 or sell it while it's still in good condition, which I would hate to do. Thanks for the information.

Sounds to me like the left hand at S&W didn't know what the right hand was doing. Grateful I called back and got the right hand, or mine would be for sale.

They sent me a recoil spring for free a couple months ago.

I also called S&W to ask about a new recoil spring . That was 2 months ago. The service rep said they were out of stock and would send one out when they came in free of charge. I have 7-8000 rounds on mine an am trying to stay ahead of the problem.
I have not done so yet, but Wolff Firearms Springs. might be worth a call.
If you do call or find another source please report back and let us know.
