Well, my doctor released me to return to work, on light duty, starting the 18th. Interpreting that to mean "you can do stuff, just take it easy", I shot the first 10 rounds through my 9mm Shield today. We'll not do that again for a while.
As Forest Gump would say,"stupid is as stupid does", and I was stupid. Suffice it to say, I can feel it, not bad, but I can feel it.
All that aside, I have now shot my Shield, and I like it a lot. Minimal recoil, very accurate for its' size, carries easily and conceals very well in a Sticky holster, and not a bad trigger considering what I've read here and elsewhere. I doubt I'll change anything other than some sights that cater to my poor vision a little better. I'm now looking forward to the next time I go to shoot (maybe after another month or so of healing).
