Talking Traded my Glock 34 for a M&P Pro CORE

First let me say that I am primarily a S&W revolver shooter and that will never change. However my club recently went to the expense and effort of installing steel targets on all of our ranges so I felt it was my duty to help break them in. Both the dueling tree and resettable knock down plates are in banks of 6 so the revolver was great fun until my buddy showed up with his Glock 34. So I ended up getting a gen 4 Glock 34 to play with as well. It was OK but just felt "wrong" in my hand. Then I saw a young fellow who had a M&P Pro CORE up for sale or trade. I got to thinking back to how good my M&P 45 had felt and handled so I offered to trade with him. My G34 and 6 mags for his Pro CORE and 6 mags. Just got back from shooting the M&P and I could not be happier. For my hands it is far superior (with the small grip back) to the G34 even in it's smallest grip configuration. Quite accurate and no issues of any kind in several hundred rounds.
It may not be a S&W revolver but it is a great S&W none the less.

I have one in 40 S&W also bought a KKM 9mm barrel for it. I bought this gun for the easy install of a red dot sight. With a RMR sight it is a great shooter for these old eyes.

Nice trade! I recently started to some USPSA and was looking at G34 but decided I like the feel of the M&P 9 Pro much better. Just picked the gun up the other day and haven't shot it yet waiting to get to the range.
