After weeks of deciding I picked up a M&P 40 Pro. I have had several glocks but just did not shoot them well.Just did not like striker fired pistols. I have shot 1911s and CZ75s most of my life. But the Pro has changed that. I had done a lot of reading up on the Apex trigger but the trigger in the Pro is very good. And I am used to shooting a 1911 with a 1.5lb trigger and a Ruger MKII with VQ trigger. The Pro trigger is not far behind these. My 11 year old son had never fired a striker fired pistol and when we were at the range his rounds were hitting the head of the IPSC target at 15 yards. I told him he was shooting high as he was hitting the head. He told me he was aiming at the head. So now I will probably retire The 1911 for awhile and will pick up another M&P.

I'm hoping to add a 9mm Pro soon.
