So I picked up my new M&P 9 Pro long slide today to discover that it came shipped with the C.O.R.E. style textured palm swells. Now maybe this is old news, maybe S&W is changing things up, but everywhere I've seen the Pro 9's pictured it has been with the stock palm swells to include on S&W's website.

My only other theory I have (but not likely) as to why mine shipped this way is maybe the LE/Mil/First Responder guns are being shipped this way since now the full Pro and C.O.R.E. lineups are being offered at LE/Mil/First Responder pricing.

In any case I'm stoked because these palm swells are a huge improvement functionally and aesthetically from my stock 40c.

I got my pro 9L back in early 2013, before the core models even came out and the medium grip is a "core" style grip. Sorry but your not the only one.

I'm glad to hear that these have been shipping with the C.O.R.E. style palm swells. S&W really should update the photo on their website because the photo depiction of the sku# for the Pro 9L shows the stock palm swells. I was really pleasantly surprised when I opened the case to inspect my pistol.
