I recently purchased a M&P22 compact and I went looking for a Kydex type holster and I cannot find any. At this point it doesn't matter if it is OWB or IWB and I don't want a leather one. Has anyone found one yet?

My son bought a Blackhawk Sportster at Wally World for the Glock 19/23/32/36 (size 02) for his Sig Mosquito. It works very well with my Shield and I used it when I'm open carrying around my house. I would expect, given how close the Shield and the 22 Compact are in size, it would fit that as well.

If you can take it into Walmart With you, the package opens very easily, so you can actually check it before you buy it. If you can't carrying inside the store, Walmart has a nice return policy.

Check out Cooks Holsters at Cook's Holsters. I just received one of their OWB Kydex holsters for my M&P 22 Compact. The M&P 22 Compact is now listed as an option on their website. They have several types of OWB and IWB holsters for the M&P 22 Compact. Orders take about 3 weeks. Someone mentioned in another post that a holster for a Kahr PM9 will work - I can confirm this.

I know this is an old thread, but how do you like your Cook's OWB for the 22? Which holster did you get?

I have looked for a holster for my MP 22c, it is compounded by the fact I am a Lefty. Just fooling around and trying the pistol in several varying holster I have. I recently bought a couple Tagua holsters, one for my MP40c and one for my Glock 43. The particular holster is listed as their "Fast Draw Belt Holster" Basically it is a simple belt slide style. My MP 22c fits the Glock 43 holster very well, not perfect but very well. It is secure and sits high enough that I can acquire a grip on the pistol in the holster for a correct draw sequence. I think if someone did the old Elmer Keith soak the holster in water and then let it dry around the pistol in a plastic bag they could end up with a perfect fit. Take a look at the Tagua web site.
