Ordered the kit on Friday not expecting any short delivery time. marked as basic shipping from midway as I needed some other items . Notice that is was shipped Monday and notice said to expect friday delievery . Surprise !! It in the mail today . Thanks to both UPS and USPS .Got it all together and even test fired it behind my garage . I using the 4lb trigger spring and am very pleased with it. Trigger pull is a fuzz under 4lbs pull. It does have a little more take up than I expected but travel to fire is very short along with reset. Short 1911 type pull?? No but very smooth now .
Now if my old reliable handloads ran a little better in the m&p . 155gr rn hi-tek coated from buyou bullet with 5.8grs hp-38 to get 1100fps . They ran so well in my tp40 kahr but 2 in a mag full will not fully chamber and a short pull and release is needed or you can hear it cycling a bit rough . Maybe another 100 rounds flat nose 165's and it will run better.
Nope . Can't help with a comparison . I started to get the regular but a few years back I had a witness match with a straight trigger and really like it. with a short pull trigger .
I've had all 3 on my comp gun. If you scroll to the bottom of this page, you will see a number of links to similar threads. I have posts in a few of them. I like the flat faced forward set sear version the best because it's faster for me. That's the whole point of competition.
Well said. As much as I tend to not like a long reach to a trigger I need it after hand surgery as my finger will not pull all the way in like it use to and the 2.800" reach works out well for me and my smaller hands .
