Leupold DeltaPoint Pro?
I ordered a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Matte 7.5 MOA Delta Dot Sight w/ Cross Slot Mount for my M&P CORE back in December, and I am being told that Leupold isn't shipping them. Has anyone gotten the new Leupold DP Pro?

They keep pushing the release date back on both the Pro, and the original DP. I think they're worth waiting for, but I bought mine before this present debacle so maybe I'd feel different if I was waiting for one.

I ordered my DP back in February through SWFA and recently I was informed that Leupold will be releasing DP's out to distributors at the end of this month. There is no guarantee though but I am hopeful to get my DP by then.

Latest update from Leupold on 5/15/15 not available until August! Not sure if they really have a schedule. They kept saying next month, prior to the latest shipping date.

i didn't want to wait for a ever changing release date so i just bought a original deltapoint. pricing has been dropping in anticipation of the release of the pro, so bargains can be found. I paid $300 for a 7.5 new in box...

I understood the DP Pro was designed with input from and primarily for the military. Leupold's obligation was to fulfill military orders first. Depending on the quantities in those orders and perhaps an increase in the number of orders if the units are working well--means civilian delays.
IOW, don't hold your breath.
