M&Ps are like crack
Two weeks ago I picked up a used, excellent condition M&P 9MM for 400.00 OTD.
I love the way it feels in the hand, and can't wait until I can get out and shoot it.
I loved the way it felt so much(remember, I haven't even shot it yet), I picked up a M&P 45 Police trade in today.
Thankfully they don't offer the M&P in 10MM, so my wallet will have a chance to quit bleeding money.

I know the feeling. 9 months ago I picked up a used m&p9 for a great price. Shot it ,loved it. Now my 9 hangs in my safe between my new m&p45 and m&p22 compact.

I would like to pick up a M&P 22, but since ammo is virtually unobtanium, it hasn't been a priority.

I think a 45c is next on my wish list.
Already have a .40 FS and a .40c.

They are addictive. After much searching I bought my Shield about a year ago now. Loved it so much it got me looking at the rest of the M&P line and I ended up swapping off my Glock 23 (Who wants to carry that brick when they have a Shield) and my Glock 21 (Speaking of bricks, the grip on that thing was about that size) for my 40 long slide. I haven't worked out a justification for another yet, but I'm working on it.

Sure is. I have a FS, Compact and Shield (all in 9). Wanted a 5" Pro and a .45 but these are no longer available for sale from LGS inventory and the used market here in CA is pretty outrageous.

Two months ago I had zero M&Ps, now I have five with another on hold. I don't think crack is even this addictive.

You think this is bad, I dare you to buy a revolver.........
Revolvers are eating my wallet away like a gaggle of moths! (Is that the word for a group of them)?

I only have three. 22, 9 FS, & pro series 40L core. I think I definitely need a 45 as well.

This morning when I woke up I had no idea I would be buying a gun today. I had no plans to buy a gun. I didn't even go to the gun show this weekend. But somehow later in the day a little voice told me - you must purchase an M&P 22c immediately! So now a 22c in on the way to join the FS, 9C, Shield,(all 9mm) and FS 22. Darn - I wish those voices would stop....

.22lr is plentiful where I am at. I was just at a local store today and they had maybe 45 boxes of the Thunderbolt (550 ct) and stacks of the CCI 100 packs.

I REFUSE to look at 1911's.
I'm running out of excuses of why I "NEED" another gun!

Where do I sign up for rehab? I purchased a FS M&P22 in January, first gun I'd ever purchased. Since then I've purchased two 9mm Shields, a .40 Shield, FS .40 unissued police trade, AR-15 Sport, just got a .45 Compact Sunday that I shot for the first time today and have an AR15-22 in transit to the gun range I use.
I did switch to Ruger for my .22, .38 and .357 revolvers though. Sorry!

Yep. Just when you think you have enough M&P pistols then you'll notice there are M&P rifles.

I also have a 40FS. I want a 40c. I'd entertain a 45c, but want to fire one first.

As an owner of a Glock, Rugers, Kahr, Springfield Arms and S&W MP22 and Shield 40, I can see the love for the S&W Semi's.
I like my MP22 quite a bit, but I fell in love with the Shield 40 and just purchased a Shield 9mm today. I really wasn't planning on getting another pistol, but...when I saw the Shield 9mm on sale I had to get it.
I'm getting a Utah CCW permit and the Shield 9mm will be my primary carry weapon. I have to wait 10 days, but I have no doubt about that-unless its defective.
I have nothing bad to say about my other pistols. They have good and not so good points and really I like all of them, but if I had to choose just 1 I would chose the Shield.
I have shot thousands of rounds and have used all pistols numerous times in training and am very fortunate to have access to a tactical range where I can shoot to my hearts content and for me the Shield works the best at least for me.

I have a nice Daniel Defense DDM4V7, but have shot the M&P-15 and will eventually get one. For the price I find it a great value and would have no issue trusting my life on one.
I've also heard great things about the MP-15-22.

I have his and hers M&P 9c's, a 45c, a Shield 9, M&P 15 and a 15/22. They are all great but my favs are the 9c and 15/22. The 9c for its versatility and the 15/22 for the fun factor.

M&P rifles are a great value, and of the highest quality.
But since I already have a BCM 16" Middy, a BCM 20", and a Palmeto Dissipator,I'm covered for my AR wants/needs.

I just picked up my second M&P yesterday, I have an M&P9C and just picked up its big brother the full size from Cabela's, both are the FDE range kit packages, couldn't beat the price, 499.99 right now. Can't wait to get it to the range and try it out.

I took the 9 and 45 out today and put 100 rounds through each.
No surprises, they went bang when they were supposed to, and shot to point of aim.
They feel great in the hand, and I am really happy with the purchases.

I took mine to the range, ran 300 rounds through it, not a single problem. I still don't like the trigger, so most likely will replace it with an Apex Tactical one.
