Default All my girls have S&Ws.

It's been a long time since I've posted on the forum but I had to post today. All my girls now have a S&W 9mm Shields. We bought 5 at the local Palmetto State Armory. One each for daughters and one for my wife. I would have gotten me one but I have a 3913 NL that is my carry pistol. $319 + tax. 😂

Yep! Family photo time...Shields in one hand and freshly-shot targets in the other.

My 12 y/o daughter has laid claim to my Mod 67. She intends to take it....since I have a purdy Mod 15 waiting for a consignment to sell, who am I to deny her true love?

My wife and daughter both carry 9c's and have no problem with the slide. I'm trying to cure the daughter of low/left, but it's not bad enough for her to miss her target at the usual self defense distances.

Those Shields certainly sound popular. Wonder how many S&W have sold so far. Sounds like decent quality for the money. Shocked when you guys informed me of prices on Third Generation Models. Gunbroker had 3 CS-9s between $600 and $750 used in good shape.

Thumbs up Great Dad...

OP, you are a great Dad and Husband. Thanks for setting up your Ladies to protect themselves. My daughter tried my Shield but had difficulties working the slide. She ended up with a J-frame and handles it well. tom.
