If your rsa is bent etc..send email to smith they will send you one free.all need model serial

If all that's bent on your friend's RSA is the rear disk, tell him that depending on where it's bent, there are several here that have continued to use it without issue.
We found this out a while back, when RSA's from CS were severely back-ordered. In the instances where the bend didn't inhibit racking the slide, several here put Hundreds more trouble free rounds through their shield with the 'defective' RSA (while waiting for their CS replacement to arrive).

Okay, I'm new here (and to the Shield) - just put the first 50 9mm rounds through the gun last week. What's an RSA? Trying to learn as much about my gun as possible.
