Has anyone, or is it even possible to put the competition kit into a shield? I have no desire for that but we were discussing it at work and I was not sure of the answer. Just some down time curiosity.

Look on Apex's website and see if they have one for the Shield. If in doubt call them. Their customer service is excellent.

Very true. Haven't called and don't really plan on it. A coworker was saying that their M&P springs etc will fit the Shield. I doubted it due to the shield specific products. Curiosity has faded, on to the next random topic at work ha ha.
