Hello,

So I picked up an M&P CORE 4.25" with a Trijicon RMR and am in the market for a holster. Ideally I'd like one that isn't gonna scuff the **** out of the slide and has some retention. I really like the Serpa but have been told directly from Blackhawk that they don't have one for the core despite seeing a post on here saying the #410513BKR will fit without issue. That thread was quite a while ago so I thought I'd see if there is anything new out there. Has anyone used a Fab Defense Scorpus and know if it will work? Also looking at eggroll mag holders. Good? Bad? All of my shooting is just at the range on my own time. Not in IDPA or anything like that.

Blade Tech Industries Revolution Belt Fits S&W M&P 9/40/45 Holster, Right, Black works well and was 23 bucks when I bought mine.

Haven't tried that one. Beware the suppressor height sights when ordering one.

I've checked out Bladetech, they seem pretty solid. Looking at the Bravo concealment RTT right now.

+1 for Bladetech.

I use a Bladetech for my 5" Pros and for my CORE with optic. No issues at all.

Which model? I'm in contact with them right now and they are saying the only one they have for the CORE is the OWB Classic.

I use a raven concealment phantom for my 5" CORE with RMR07 and TLR-1s. Unfortunately I don't think they make anything with level 2 or 3 retention. I did have to remove about a .5"x.5" section of kydex at the top of the holster to allow the pistol to go completely in with the RMR mounted, but it was easy to do with a utility knife. Also, the phantom barely accomodates tall iron sights, the front sight scrapes against the kydex inside the holster but not bad enough to slow my draw significantly.

Ok thanks for all the input so far. I've also found out the if you go to the custom holsters on Bravo Concealments site that the RTT will fit the CORE, you just have to click "yes" on suppressor sights. Have heard from a few sources here at work that they make really high quality stuff.

I use a Blade Tech Revolution made for the Compact, works well and has plenty of "tall sight" clearance. It also works with a Deltapoint sight. Handy to only have one holster for multiple pistols. (at least my M&P's)

I have a Blackhawk Serpa cqc holster that fits my M&P PC ported 9L. Originally bought it for my 45C but it also works with my FS 40, 40C and Walther PPQ's. The part # on the back of the holster is 2100270.

I have standardized on Gode holsters for everything I own from Glock to S&W.

The OSH holster works perfectly with my S&W CORE. I adjusted my holster to fit my RMR. Gcode now does the RMR cut out for $5.00 extra, this was not an option when I bought mine. Retention is adjustable.

I love my Uncle Mike's Reflex Holster size 9. It holds my M&P 9 C.O.R.E. 5" with red dot and threaded barrel, my full-size M&P 40, my full-size M&P 45, and my SD9VE perfectly. It has IRT (integrated retention technology) that keeps your gun locked. To draw, you twist the grip toward your body and pull out. I have the right-handed model, but you can get it in left-hand. It also sells for around $25. Uncle Mike's Holster Selector - Details
