price on 45 shield
Thinking about a 45 shield but wondering about price. Buds has them for $399 which seems a bit high to me. What do you all see in the way of prices?

Looks like you'll be in the area of $400 plus taxes, unless you have a Law Enforcement discount. Bud's does FREE SHIPPING to your FFL, other dealers charge for shipping. A dealer I know locally is at $390 plus Tax for the SHIELD 45 CALIBER.
I just looked at a BUD'S ad for a SHIELD 45 NO SAFETY, $449 "CASH" PRICE.

It varies, but it is around $380-400. My lgs wants $445 plus fees, I said nope.

$399 seems fair especially considering the newness hasn't worn off yet

These 45's are flying off the shelf. My LGS had one selling at $469 and it didn't last 2 days. I think $399 is a decent price today. If you wait 6 months, the demand may slow down and you may see some better prices but if you're like me and just had to have one, $399 is about right.

I paid $420.00 out the door at LGS....
All online sites were higher after you add in taxes, and FFL transfer fees.
Shop around LGS....but you are in the current market pricing level for the 45.

Bought my Shield last week from a LGS for $399 plus tax. I thought it was fair in N. GA.

Paid $439 plus tax at LGS. More than I would like to have paid. I wasnt patient enough to wait for online deals. Prob about $40 or too much, but after shoot a few hundred rounds, I already forgot the price.

Does Bud's include free shipping to your FFL dealer? If so, I'd say $399 is a pretty fair price.

locally mine are between $450-$495 out the door. $399 is the cheapest you'll see online for quite some time.
