How to trace mfg year from serial number and what is current value

you can contact S&W customer service directly and they can get you build date based on ser #.

As for value i'll defer to others but am sure there are many variables (year, model, condition, etc) that will play a part on it; not to mention how it compares to any current sale prices on new

To trace mfr date by serial number, you have to call S&W. If you have the case, we can figure it out from the bar code.

My case says right on it 063014. June 30th 2014

Call S&W. I've done this with my other non-S&W guns. All they need is the serial number.
