Default Anyone night fire w/ PC?

Sorry if this is a dupe cant search for some reason

Anyone night fire with their Performance Center carry gun? How did you react to the ports? I have seen a video of the PC shield in action with lights off and didnt think it would be an issue.. Especially with adrenaline rushing and your life is on the line. But as i said it was a video.

I want a PC shield and will still get one. But curious what you PC guys can tell me from personal experience of how bad the flash is from the ports

Yes, and it doesn't harm your vision. Well, anymore than firing anything else. And actually, less flash than a revolver like a 642 in my opinion.

I actually didn't notice the port flash until I was looking at some video of when we were night firing. While I was actually firing, I didn't notice it.

Again, just my opinion.

Not an issue whatsoever. I have a 340 PD that delivers a 3 foot fireball. It's the most overrated nonissue ever for night time. The issue with porting is the possibility of gases, smoke, powder etc during a self defense shooting from retention. I for one love my PC Shield and that won't stop me from carrying it. I carry Federal HST 124 gr standard pressure with full confidence

Same experience here. Flash is a non-issue, even shooting the Liberty Ammo (50 grains at 2000 FPS). I have a some slow mo video where one can see some wild looking flash shooting that ammo, but from the shooter's perspective it was a non-issue.
