Hey all its been awhile since I've been on this forum and I hope I am not asking a redundant question. I am looking to get a pistol I am more of a rifle guy but need a good pistol. I am only getting one for home and personal protection so I want it to be a good one. I looked at the M&P 9mm VTAC, I really like the way it holds in my hand and the fiber optic sites. I compared it to a Glock 19 and overall I just like the feel of the VTAC better. I read here back in 2012 there were some issues with the front sites falling out and stuff and curious if this is still a problem. Overall it seems a bit more expensive for the sites and FDE color. Is this pistol a good pistol or are there better pistols for the money? Thanks.
