Anyone aware of availability or plans for a threaded barrel for the M&P Shield in 45 ACP?

Threaded barrel for 45 Shield?

I'm also interested in this; seems to me like a half-inch longer barrel would be a great enhancement for the .45 Shield even for someone who didn't plan to suppress it.

Interesting.
Wouldn't that kind of defeat the purpose of the Shield? I mean, the longer barrel makes a tiny bit of sense, but a suppressor or compensator just seems to defeat the concept of small size.
Even so, don't worry, KKM, Wolf, Apex or someone will make one eventually.
