Palmetto State Armory Shield deal.

I get probably 6-8 emails a day from various gun retailers with their lastest sales. Well PSA got me today. 9mm Shield plus 3 stripped PSA blem AR lowers. My total was $417 shipped to my buddies FFL which means no transfer fee for me. Sounds kinda high but after the rebate it will be back down to a normal price before the rebates plus I'll have 3 stripped lowers to fiddle with. I told myself no more AR's as I just finished my 5 and final build but what the heck. I'm gonna give the shield a try as I usually carry a 3913 or 4026. If I don't like it I can sell the shield and lowers and probably make money. Anyone else try this deal too?

I bought a shield 45 from whittaker $315 before the rebate, shipped to a friend FFL so no extra charge for me.

I love both my shield 9mm and the 45 too. Only took three days to get to me

Yes on taking the rebate. We have a really good Rual King store here and buy most of my new guns there . If they don't have it in the store , I go to their RKguns.com and buy from their warehouse and have shipped to their store for $10 and do the transfer there for free and was really saving for a M&P 2.0 5" but I'll see how the Shield goes. I'm usually a 3rd Gen kinda guy as last 2 "plastic " Smiths didn't last long with me.

Took delivery today of my Shield .45 w/o safety. Ordered on the 5th. Took a while to arrive but not complaining since shipping was free. With rebate and transfer it was three bills. Good enough for me. First time I used this particular dealer for a transfer. It was a good way to break the ice with them. I'll be using them more.
