Night Sights M&P 2.0
I have a brand new M&P 2.0 in .45 ACP waiting for me at the LGS. This will be a bedside gun and I want to put night sights on it. I’ve never owned an M&P before and I know nothing much about them yet, so I’m looking for some feedback on your favorite night sights for this handgun.

Tru Glo TFX or TFO would be an excellent choice!!
Also a superb option:

You'll get a variety of replies of people's favorite sights. I've tried several brands and variations over the years with all different handguns. My recent purchase of an M&P 2.0 45acp after doing alot of research, I decided on Ameriglo I-Dots. I'm impressed with the brightness and fast aquisition. I'm very satisfied with the accuracy when I went to the range recently. I was shooting up to distances out to 25 yards. My last handgun had Trijicon HD sights which I also liked, though I didn't feel they were as bright and they are double the price.

True, but I’ve never owned an M&P and just had no idea where to start looking for M&P stuff.
Not a ton of info on the manufactures web sites, or I’m having trouble reading them, but I just get the impression that most of this stuff has to be recharged often. My current bed side gun came with night sights. I’ve had the gun for 8+ years and they never see the light of day and they are still very bright. That’s what I’m looking for. Something that can live in a drawer and stay bright.

If you like the two dot setup the Ameriglo pro idots like someone mentioned are nice. The Trjicon HD sets are my preferred three dot setup. Trijicon just released the HD XR sights that I've been wanting to try. I will likely pick up a set for my M&P 2.0 soon.

I'd go Truglo TFX. Best of both worlds. I use the HiViz front sights on most of my carry guns. I do have night sights on my Glock 19 but the biggest value is it aids in locating in pitch black. In daytime shooting (which is most times) I don't find much value in night sights.

I had hiviz on a Glock 23 I had years ago. One range trip and cleaning later the fiber optic tubes melted when some gun solvent accidentally got on them. I thought it was strange since the likely hood was high contacting when cleaning, so it was weird and an expensive lesson.

Ameriglo, Trijicon and Truglo seem to be the choices. Does anyone have any photos with these 3 different sights on their gun? Not interested in the I Dot sights.

Check out Diamond Speed Sights.
These really pop, day or night.

Correct.
I chose a green front and whites for the rear.

Fiber and tritium, you will NEVER go back. Nothing as stand out as a fiber sights lit up like the sun during the day and low light. The to see fiber lit up with tritium at night.

For my M&P9 2.0 I picked up a set of the Truglo TFO sights on Ebay for $75. Just did a quick search and the same seller stills has the sights listed. It's nice to have the Trijicon sights at night and the fiber optics in the daylight.
