M&P 9 2.0 Takedown lever

Hi Guys,

Should the newest version of the M&P9 2.0 have no tension
on the takedown lever, once the slide is removed? Once my
slide is removed, the lever has no tension at all. Seems the
tension on it is coming from the recoil spring before removal
of the slide.

You're correct, it should have no tension. 1.0 models had a small wire spring in the locking block which was deleted from the 2.0.
