Shield slide back plate?

How will that improve your shooting?

Back plates are a dime a dozen. I'd like to see a T-handle back plate to aid my RA weak grip.

It doesn't, I would like to add a little bit of my own spin on the gun without altering the functionality, right now. Does anybody know of any other companies that make aluminum back plates?

TacRack T handle back plate.Got mine at Amazon.I think it was 29$

This reminded me of my VP9. Before I handled one or purchased mine, I thought those little tabs at the rear of the slide were kind of silly. Now that I have used them, I wish someone offered something similar for other pistols as well. I love those things. And I'm still healthy and have a good grip.

I'm curious how well the flat line ops one fits after reading a review. That t handle one looks cool

Does the slide cover plate NEED that rectangular portion in the middle of it?

The TacRack looks like it would be painful to operate with those sharp ends. And not enough grip area. I don't want to fiddle around trying to rack it on a belt or holster. Thanks, I guess I'll stick with the cupped hand over the top.

Does it get in the way for IWB carry or get caught on anything?

No,in fact my weak left index still couldnt get a good grip on it. I ADDED1/2" of clear neoprene ubeing ti both sides and what a diffefence! no snag either I will sap a pi and put it up!

These are not very good but they show the relationships.Haveing to hod the gun with one hand an camera with th other +poor quality!

The other thing is that the extensions are neoprene tubeing! they ar soft and flexible!

I bought one of these slide plates. Took it out of the package and the bottom 3/4's discolored by touch. Sent the company an email. They sent back a reply stating...

If you touch it it could discolor
If you get gun oil on it it could discolor
If you get gun solvent on it it could discolor

They included a video stating to clean the back plate with rubbing alcohol.

Mine didn't clean up.
Looks really good in the package when it first arrives. But unfortunately sending back.
YMMV

I found another back plate mfr and they make their product out of T6 aluminium. https://www.bastiongear.com/collections/slide-back-plates-for-smith-wesson-m-p-shield?page=9

Thinking hello kitty punisher.

I think those are for people who are everyday packers, And are afraid of losing their toy.

Reminds me of when people say to you. You better strap a 2×4 to your ☆SS before going in there.

Kind of a safety device for their "6".
