I couldn't find any reviews on these and thought I'd give my .02.
I snagged a couple 17rd 9mm ETS magazines for my 2.0c (edc). Was planning to use the grip extensions and utilize 2 extra rounds with a full size magazine during the cooler months where I could conceal a tad extra grip. Just because I guess. When I opened them, I noticed that the construction was very soft and felt a little fragile. These things are incredibly light weight.
Out of the bag, I could not slingshot or use the mag release to send the slide home. The slide/loading bar would catch on the follower every time when the magazine was unloaded. Just annoying really.
Loading them was a pain. And i could only get 14 or 15rds in each magazine. If I muscled a 16th round in either magazine, the feed lips would bend and stretch, (and again, the plastic body is VERY soft). I'm almost sure they would break or crack if I jammed 17 in them. They're also a tad more difficult to seat than OEM magazines.
I put 100rds through each magazine today. Surprisingly, No failures, and the slide locked back on empty every time.
I guess there's not much to say, except the translucent body looks cool and they're only about $15 on gunmagwarehouse. That said, I probably wouldn't buy more due to the issues stated above. I'll keep these for the range. Pretty bummed out I can't load them to capacity. Wish i had gotten a couple 30rd mags instead of the 17rd ones since they're just going to be used for fun though.
They also do not fit flush with the grip extension provided by Smith and Wesson from the factory with the 2.0 compacts. Again, annoying.
