Hello. I have a couple of the first 9c's and love the guns but have heard a lot about the 2.0's In checking them out I see they have a 9c and a 9 subcompact. Can not seem to find any good comparisons of them. Especially height of the 2 guns. I am assuming that the 2.0 9c is very similar to my old gun but would be interested in the height of each of these new ones. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The new 9c is 4" barrel the new 9 sub compact is 3.6" barrel.

The 2.0 Compact is a Glock 19 size pistol. I assume, from what is on the S&W website, that the sub compact is more like the original 9c. I've never seen a 2.0 sub compact in any stores here yet.

The 2.0 9 Subcompact is the 2.0 equivalent to your original M&P 9c. 3.6in barrel; 6.6 slide length, and 4.5in tall with flush mag (without pinky extension). The 2.0 compact comes in 2 variants(this is the version that everyone compares to a Glock 19); one with a 4in barrel and one with a 3.6 in barrel. The 4in barrel model is 7.3in long and the 3.6 is 6.8in long. Both have the same grip and height of 5in.

Hope this helps

Thanks for all the responses. Great info. Like the new compact but leaning toward the sub compact for height alone. Need to conceal most of all..

I have both, and they are both awesome! I prefer the 2.0c, but the 2.0sc is no slouch! It is a sweet shooter, and a lot more concealable. You won't be disappointed with either.
