I saw one of these at a local gun shop today. It looked nice, has nice balance, good sights, the 5" barrel might make for a pretty accurate shooter. The neck knife and commemorative coin were not deal makers to me.
On the S&W website, it lists it at $565MSRP. My local shop had it at $589. Not alot higher, but you don't normally expect to pay above MSRP for anything. I guess it's just a sign of the times. If the election goes the wrong way, it may look like bargain.
Anyone have one, any opinions?

Yeah, the coin and knife wouldn't interest me but the 5 inch models are worth the "coin".
Mine is very accurate and a soft shooter.

I recently got a 5", and like Sandog said they sure are soft shooters. And very accurate.

I grabbed one on sale$450 few months ago real nice shooter had Red/Green fiber optic sights installed.

Got a four inch 2.0 for $450 last year, it shoots great and I used it for LEOSA Qualification in June, score 93%.

It would seem you answered your own question ;)

If you like it, buy it. If it's still there.

Shops locally have bumped everything up, some by a lot. Even if the Republicans pull off a big win, which looks more and more less likely, it will be months, and for some a couple years before manufacturing catches up with demand.
