You have an unhappy face emoji attached to your post. That leads me to believe that you are having stovepipe issues. There are several threads on that issue; for many of us it's not the ammo, it's the magazine. Try increasing the friction on the last round. I did mine two ways, and they both worked for me.
1) Disassemble the magazine and scuff the follower with sandpaper, or;
2) Add a small strip of duct tape to the follower. No need to disassemble the mag.

If you choose to try adding friction to the follower and you decide to use tape as a temporary fix, I suggest the tape should be placed starting at the back of the follower so the cartridge rim is already resting on it when the slide closes.
As pictured above, the back edge of the tape is frayed because the rim of the cartridge has to pop over it rather than already being on top of it. Just an easily adaptable alternative.

Welcome to the Forum!
Although it doesn't bear on your stovepipe issue, there is some good information about the ballistic performance of .380 self-defense rounds here:
Final Results of the .380 ACP Ammo Quest | Shooting The Bull
I hope you can find some of the better-performing rounds.

The stove pipes might be the results of limp wresting. Or maybe a improper grip. With the EZ pistol you have to have a firm grip. Good luck with your EZ 380
