Do the Shield sights use the same dovetail size as the full size M&Ps? In other words can I use one in the other?
Thanks

I'm fairly certain they are. The TruGlo Tritium Pro sights are listed as being for the following pistols. M&P, SD9, SD40 (Excludes VE Models), Shield/Shield 2.0 & .22 Models (Excludes .22 Compact/CORE Models).

I installed these sights, bought from Amazon. You WILL need a good sight pusher to remove the old sights and install the new, or use a good gunsmith.

The dovetail is the same but the Shield slide is thinner so some M&P sights may extend beyond the dovetail on a Shield.

I love the Ameriglo i-dots I put on my S+. They do have a different part number than the M&P models though.

The rear sight I linked to in Post 3 comes to about 1/32 of an inch from the edge on each side when centered on the slide. The front sight doesn't even come close to going off the edge of the slide. These sights are very bright in total darkness as well as work well in daylight. Now it's comparable to my Sig P-365 sights.

I have the same exact model Tru-glo TFO on my Shield, M&P pro, SD40 and SD9. Haven't noticed any POI issues either oddly.
